HOLYWATER Launches First Vertical Reality Series “Love or Dare”
November 18 — HOLYWATER has announced its first unscripted vertical series, Love or Dare, with Part 1 premiering on November 21 on the My Drama platform, followed by Part 2 on December 12.
Love or Dare follows couples who are either struggling or simply want to test their limits as they face a series of emotional and physical challenges. The cast includes international unscripted talent such as Harry Johnson, previously featured on Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle. The season consists of 80 vertical episodes.
The series is led by Ukrainian filmmaker Svitlana Kovda, who serves as showrunner and creative producer, with Iryna Stakhmich as executive producer.
HOLYWATER—one of the leading players in the rapidly growing vertical entertainment space—has previously produced some of the world’s most-watched microdrama series, including Spark Me Tenderly, Chained by Her Love, Young Elite, Love in the Shadows, and The Diamond Rose.
The new unscripted vertical series is produced separately from the strategic deal with FOX, announced in October, through which the U.S. entertainment group took an equity stake in HOLYWATER. That partnership will see up to 200 scripted and unscripted vertical series produced through Fox Entertainment Studios over the next two years.
Love or Dare also marks HOLYWATER’s broader expansion beyond microdramas into new genres—including reality shows, true crime, action, and more—bringing high-quality vertical content to global audiences.
